     Henry David Owen was born on 26 May 1847 at Ray County, MO. He married Judith Frances Linville, daughter of David Linville and Sophrina Bales, on 29 August 1869 at Ray County, MO. Henry David Owen died on 11 October 1908 at Richmond, MO, at age 61.

     Rene Mahan Webb married Mary Linville, daughter of David Linville and Sophrina Bales.

     Her married name was Rebecca Thomson. Rebecca Linvill married J. A. Thomson. Rebecca Linvill was born on 19 January 1835 at Ray County, MO. She died on 31 March 1862 at age 27.

     Her married name was Elizabeth Donaldson. Elizabeth Linvill married (?) Donaldson. Elizabeth Linvill was born on 15 February 1836 at Ray County, MO. She died on 13 October 1898 at age 62.

     Sarah A. Linvill was born on 12 May 1838 at Ray County, MO; Find A Grave has Sarah Ann as born 1 May 1840 but there is no death date so it is assumed that the date is not based on a grave stone. As of 27 September 1867,her married name was Sarah A. Houston. She married R. B. Houston on 27 September 1867.

     Mary W. Linvill also went by the name of Polly Linvill. She was born on 21 January 1841 at MO. She died on 8 July 1858 at age 17.

     James A. Linvill was born on 25 December 1843 at Ray County, MO. He married Mary S. Wallace on 13 December 1873 at Livingston County, MO. James A. Linvill and Mary S. Wallace appeared on the census of 1880 at Lincoln, Caldwell County, MO. "There is probably no man within the corporate limits of Caldwell County who does not in a certain sense feel himself acquainted with James A. Linville. His identification with the interests of the county are more than those of a pecuniary nature, though he is recognized as a man of substanial wealth also. But is as a man, in his relations with his neighbors and in the private walks of life that the people of his community have come to esteem him so highly, and no one is more eminently worthy of his respect than he. On his magnificent farm of 680 acres is situated one of the most beautiful and imposing residences in the township and, indeed, in the county. For his stock, etc., he has two excellent barns, a large supply of running water, some 80 acres of timber, an orchard five acres in extent, and, infact, almost everything which one would suppose goes to make up the appointment of a superior farm. Mr. Linville takes a most commendable interest in the raising of stock, and at the head of his fine lot of horses is the thoroughbred animal "Ben Cockrell". He also raises Poland-China hogs, etc. Besides his property in Caldwell County he has a half interest in a ranch and herd of cattle on Hackley Creek, Hodgman County, Kansas, numbering 600 head, and a third interest in a half section of land in Reno County, Kansas, where they are feeding 200 head of stock ....."

Linvill on; James owned a 680 acre farm in Caldwell County, MO. The farm was on the north side of highway 116 abaout a 1/2 mile west of Cowgill, MO. (from memories shared by Lorenzo Tucker) A stained glass window in the United Methodist Church of Cowgill bears James name. He and Mary S.      John E. Linvill was born on 10 February 1845 at Ray County, MO. He married Kate Grimes on 24 March 1870 at Ray County, MO. John E.
