This was land that was bordered by other land (not identified in land records) of his, and land held by Jacob Smith, Isaac Smith and widow Helton. A similar, but larger lot, is entered by "Wiley," likely his father William. He married Elizabeth (?) circa 1805; Elizabeth Linville appears in household of Worley D. Linville in 1850, age 67. She seems likely to be Worley's (d. 1846) widow, but there are numerous age inconsistencies in the enumerations of Worley's potential wife in the 1810-1840 census listings, suggesting she may not have been his only wife. Worley Linville moved at Rockcastle County, KY, circa 1806 Moved to a part of Knox Co. which shortly became Laurel Co., KY. Showed up on the Knox Co. KY tax list in 1807. He appeared on the census of 1810 at Rockcastle County, KY; Household includes one male over 45 who is not Worley, himself, and may be a father-in-law. Worley is 26-45, wife 26-45, and three sons under age 10, one of whom is clearly Daniel B., born 1808. He was Farmer. He appears on the between 1811 and 1822 tax lists for Rockcastle County, KY, Worley appears with both William and William, Jr. in 1811, but after that only William and Worley are listed. Laurel County formed from Rockcastle after 1824. He appeared on the census of 1820 at Rockcastle County, KY; Worley is listed with one male 26-45, one male 10-16 [Daniel B.], and three males born 1810-1820 [William, Lambert and Worley D.]; one female 16-26. He appeared on the census of 1830 at Laurel County, KY; Household composition suggests that all of four of his daughters were born between 1820-1830, especially when compared to 1810 and 1820 listings. His estate was probated on 16 September 1846 at Randolph County, AL; Letters of Administration for the estate of Worley Linville were granted to "Lambird" Linville. He died before 21 January 1851 at Randolph County, AL; Lambert appears on the 1850 census, but he was no longer the administrator of his father's estate when brother Worley is cited as administrator 21 Jan 1851.
