This land was in the family until 1990 when the family sold the estate to the angel family. His two story house that he built on the property in 1860 was used for his residence as well as the local post office, saloon and his merchant store. He appeared on the census of 1860 at Belews Creek, Forsyth County, NC; Living with parents. He appeared on the census of 1900 at Oak Ridge, Guilford County, NC; Niece - Lula Medearis Boone/Cornelius Boone family was living with Uncle Billy - looking after him.
