     John William King Jr. was born on 6 March 1810. He married Lydia Ann Bowman Brim, daughter of Archibald Brim and Nancy Meredith Bowman, in 1836 at Guilford County, NC. John William King Jr. was John was a postmaster for the Stokesdale, NC post office making mail deliveries by wagon and buggy. John also owned and operated a general merchant store on the family property along with raising grain and tobacco on the farm/plantation. He also performed legal services as a lawyer although it is unclear where he got a law degree or legal training. John became wealthy and prosperous from the these various occupations. He acquired John William King Jr. on circa 1860; Inherited the 500 acre family property from his father. They built two houses on the property on what is now Hwy 68 at the intersection with Haw River road. After John's death, the 500 acres was sold to Seeborn Jones and wife Eliza Ann Linville for $500. He and Lydia Ann Bowman Brim appeared on the census of 1870 at Oak Ridge, Guilford County, NC. John William King Jr. and Lydia Ann Bowman Brim appeared on the census of 1880 at Oak Ridge, Guilford County, NC. John William King Jr. died on 24 July 1894 at Guilford County, NC, at age 84. He was buried at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Oak Ridge, Guilford County, NC.

Ed has also done much more work on the Medearis and Nelson families that is not included in the Linville database.      Agnes Balonis was born in 1925. As of September 1951,her married name was Agnes Nelson. She married Walter W. Nelson, son of Carvel Andrew Nelson and Mattie Franklin Medearis, in September 1951 at MA. Agnes Balonis died in July 1993.

     The marriage of Jane Eliot and Edward Wilson Nelson was annulled in 1967. As of 1967,her married name was Jane Nelson. Jane Eliot married Edward Wilson Nelson, son of Walter W. Nelson and Bertha Mable Parish, in 1967.
