He acquired Dr. Marion Dennis Medearis on in 1864; He purchased over 200 acres of the "Brooks Plantation" from an Englishman named King Brooks (wife Sara). The Brooks family lived in a house at what is now the intersection of Piney Grove Road and Pumkin Ridge Road. The Brooks shared the house with their dozen slaves. He was educated in 1868 at William & Mary College, VA; He acquired enough credits and medical knowledge to become a general practitioner. He married Jeanette Josephine Linville, daughter of Cyrus Smith Linville and Louisa May King, in 1868. Dr. Marion Dennis Medearis and Jeanette Josephine Linville appeared on the census of 1870 at Belews Creek, Forsyth County, NC. Dr. Marion Dennis Medearis was General practitioner. He delivered over 300 babies and cared for the sick and dying in the community. He was known for his humble caring deeds and character. He traveled by foot, horseback, wagon, buggy or surry in his efforts meet the needs of his patients. Dr. Medearis would often stay with his more critcally ill patients until they were improving and on the way to recovery. In the winter months if the call was very far away from home, he would stay until the weather improved to make the travel more reasonable. between 1870 and 1910 at Belews Creek Community, Forsyth County, NC.      Bernard Lester (B. L.) Jones attended the 1998 NC Linville Family reunion and left a copy of genealogy information on Sebron Fidelia Jones/Eliza Ann Linville and their descendants. This information is the bulk of what is included for this family and their descendants. Sebron Fidelia Jones was also known as Cebron Jones. Sebron Fidelia Jones also went by the name of Sebe Jones. He was born on 10 October 1850. He acquired Sebron Fidelia Jones on circa 1868; When first married, they purchased a small tract of land on Pumpkin Ridge Road from the estate heirs of Daniel and Sara Brooks. They built a 2 room log cabin and some barns. They farmed the land. They sold this land somewhere between 1900 and 1915 when they moved to Guilford Co. The land was sold to a Mr Jahannie Warren who later sold it to a Mr. Walt Dwiggins. He and Eliza Ann Linville lived between 1868 and 1910 at Forsyth County, NC; They lived on the land they purchased on Pumpkin Ridge Road. At some time between 1900 and 1915, they decided to move from Forsyth to Guilford Co. Sebron Fidelia Jones married Eliza Ann Linville, daughter of Cyrus Smith Linville and Louisa May King, on 17 October 1872 at Guilford County, NC. Sebron Fidelia Jones acquired Sebron Fidelia Jones on in 1915; Eliza and Sebe purchased the 500 acre King Plantation on what is now Hwy 68 between Stokesdale and Oak Ridge, NC in 1915 for $500. The King Plantation belonged to Eliza's Uncle John King and wife Lydia and was purchased from their heirs. They farmed the property. The property was passed on to their son Frank Jones who developed part of it - Dawn Acres golf course. He died on 1 April 1916 at age 65. He was buried at United Methodist Church Cemetery, Stokesdale, NC.

He married Alsia Jane Linville, daughter of Cyrus Smith Linville and Louisa May King, on 2 December 1855 at Forsyth County, NC; Marriage license from Forsyth Co., NC is dated 1 Dec. 1855 (?) Alson Gray Whicker and Alsia Jane Linville appeared on the census of 1860 at Stokes County, NC. Alson Gray Whicker began military service in 1862 at NC Private Co. D, 57th Reg. N. C. Infantry in Cofederate Army - several records showing service. He ended military service in 1865 at NC; Private Co. D, 57th Reg. N. C. Infantry in Cofederate Army - several records showing service. Parole record for POW is dated 9 May 1865 in Greensboro, NC. He moved at IL circa 1867 Moved west by wagon train and ultimately ended up in Elk Falls, KS where they lived until death. It was reported by NC relatives that they never had the financial means or desire to visit NC again. He moved at OK circa 1873. He moved at Elk Falls, Elk County, KS, circa 1895. He died on 14 November 1898 at Elk Falls, Elk County, KS, at age 66. He was buried at Elk Falls Cemetery, Elk Falls, Elk County, KS.
