Like her sister Katherine before her, Bridget married a man who lived on the Sussex coast. The timing and place of the marriage is another indication of the relationship between the Wickershams of the coast of Sussex, and those of Fletching, inland.

     Her married name was Venis. Mary Wickersham was born between 1606 and 1613. There is a gap in the Fletching Parish Register between 1609-1618, making it necessary to rely on the Bishop's Transcripts for the parish. It is possible that Mary is the "Elizabeth" Wickersham (5th child of Thomas and Alice (Ballard) Wickersham) found in the transcripts and that the copyist made an error in the transcribing her name. Nothing further is known about this "Elizabeth," but "Mary" is cited in her brother Richard's will in 1657 as "Mary Venis." She married (?) Venis before 1657. As of 10 November 1659,her married name was Hasting. Mary Wickersham second married Richard Hasting on 10 November 1659 at Fletching, Sussex County, England. Mary Venice is identified as a widow at the time of this marriage.

Samuel Richey died before 1 January 1739/40 at Hempfield, Lancaster, Lancaster County, PA. His estate was probated on 1 January 1739/40 at Lancaster County, PA, The will was written 14 Oct 1736, only a short while after his marriage to Lydia Linvill. He made bequests to wife Lydia and to son Samuel Richey. His wife and brothers Hugh and Charles Richey were executors. The inventory (not dated) includes notes held against Lydia's father, John Linvill.
